SWOT Analysis
a) Written Communication
I have been told I write well and I opt to use a format when emailing. I would say a weakness is that I can sometimes write more than necessary. In the role of grip, written communication is important when organising equipment.
b) Verbal Communication
Sometimes I can be too quiet when working in a group. I have been improving my communication and have worked in groups lots of times. This will be an opportunity to work in a new group with new people. A threat of communication will be if I don't get a voice in the group.
c) Practical
I have worked on lots of practical projects so I am used to the equipment. However, there is more advanced equipment that I am not used to. An opportunity might be that I get to do a job I have not done before and I may also be able to use new equipment.
d) Creativity
I am quite creative, perhaps not under extreme pressure. Sometimes if it isn't an area or genre that I am used to, but then I can delegate or find ways around the problem. As a grip, creativity is about problem solving and sometimes innovation. A threat might be that I may not be able to solve the problem then I will not have done my job. Whereas, an opportunity might be to be creative about my role.
